The highest hill of the Weather Hills, originally known as Amon Sûl. It once held a great watch-tower that housed one of the [[Palantíri]]. During the flight to [[Rivendell]], [[Frodo Baggins]] and the other Hobbits were attacked here by the [[Nazgûl]]. It was on this hill that the Witch-king of Angmar stabbed Frodo with a Morgul-blade, a wound that would haunt him for the rest of his life in Middle-earth.
