Also known as Aman or Valinor, this realm lies far to the West, across the Great Sea. It is the home of the Valar and the High Elves. Following the [[Downfall of Númenor]], it was removed from the physical circles of the world, reachable only by Elven ships following the "Straight Road." At the end of the [[Third Age]], [[Frodo Baggins]], [[Bilbo Baggins]], and [[Gandalf]] the Grey were permitted to sail there to find healing and peace.
