One of the three Elven Rings of Power, also known as the "Ring of Fire" or the "Red Ring." It was forged by Celebrimbor in the [[Second Age]] and originally given to Círdan the Shipwright. Unlike [[The One Ring]], which was made to dominate, Narya had the power to kindle hope in the hearts of others and resist the weariness of time. Círdan eventually gave the ring to [[Gandalf]] the Grey upon his arrival in Middle-earth, recognizing his noble spirit.
